Herding Associations in the USA

 

• AHBA - American Herding Breeds Association

• AKC - American Kennel Club

• ASCA - Australian Club of America

• USBCHA - United Stated Border Collie Handlers’ Association

 

AHBA accepts all breeds.  Membership includes a bimonthly newsletter with interesting articles and titles reports.

 

USBCHA accepts all breeds for open and nursery; local associations should be checked about breeds for open ranch, ranch, and novice.

 

AKC and ASCA specify the breeds that are eligible to participate in their sanctioned events.  Check the above links for eligible breeds; these change periodically.
